Kale & Me is a leading company in the field of cold-pressed juices and juice cleanses, based in Hamburg. Their existing Shopware 5 shop had reached its technical and design limits – a relaunch was necessary. The goal was to increase the conversion rate, streamline the checkout process, and not only maintain but also improve SEO performance in the long term.

Two key challenges shaped the project:

Complex migration from Shopware to Shopify: The existing shop included numerous special functions – among them a deposit system, a subscription model, and custom checkout elements. These had to be mapped in Shopify and transferred seamlessly – without any loss of SEO.

Long-term scalability & conversion focus: Kale & Me planned to be able to flexibly manage further products, promotions and content in the future – for this, a scalable theme architecture, a clean structure and full control over all functions was needed.

Solution
FSR-Media handled the complete shop migration and also developed several custom features – focusing on technical precision, user experience, and conversion optimization. Even after the go-live, the team continues to support Kale & Me through an ongoing service model.

Shop migration: All content, product data, URLs, and landing pages were migrated from Shopware and restructured in Shopify – including automatic 301 redirects. The SEO impact was fully preserved and even improved.

Custom Development: Individually developed features such as an automatic deposit calculator, a desired delivery date in the checkout, a dynamic progress bar in the shopping cart and a discountable input field round off the new shop functionally.

Shop optimization: The Buy Box has been redesigned, mobile UX improved, and performance optimized for subscription products with Recharge. The new shop impresses with its clarity, modularity, and optimized loading times.
