Bloomify is a growing e-commerce company specializing in flower and plant gifts. Originally built on Gambio, the shop had reached its technical and visual limits – and was hitting its limits in terms of scalability, SEO, and UX.
The goal was to migrate Bloomify to Shopify without any loss of visibility or functionality. At the same time, key sales features such as upselling, preferred delivery date, and discount logic were to be retained and further developed.

Two major challenges defined the project:

Complex migration from Gambio including JTL merchandise management.
The data structure from JTL – including specific product attributes and tiered pricing – had to be cleanly transferred to Shopify and supplemented with dynamic metafields.

Custom shop functions & conversion elements
Bloomify did not want to abandon key features such as upselling, preferred delivery date and tiered discounts – these were to be redesigned as tailor-made functions.
